The objective is to prove that the product, documentation and repeat-order process match the buyer's market. Every record should identify the exact model, hardware revision and firmware version.
Required product documents
Request a signed specification sheet, clear front and rear images, physical input/output list, bus and routing chart, processing list, recording and remote-control statement, dimensions, net and gross weight, included accessories and power requirements.
For OEM projects, add approved logo files, panel artwork, startup screen, packaging, manuals, certification scope and the exact firmware release.
Sample test evidence
Build a realistic show file and verify every physical input, every output bus, EQ and dynamics, effects, scene recall, USB workflow, remote control, startup, power cycling and recovery from network interruption.
Record results with dated photos or video. A short stereo playback demonstration cannot prove a professional digital mixer platform.
Commercial and service evidence
Confirm MOQ, sample terms, production lead time, carton quantity, warranty, spare-parts support, firmware support, branding scope and the process for reporting field failures.
Distributors should also define the target customer, competitive price band, training requirement and which model is the entry, core or step-up offer.
Repeat-order consistency
Keep a golden sample, signed specification, firmware record, approved artwork and QC checklist. Require written approval before component, firmware, panel, accessory or packaging changes.
Each shipment should be traceable to a batch and inspection result. This protects the distributor from silent substitutions and mixed versions.
Apply the checklist by series
DAM: verify the manual-fader workflow, onboard processing and value as an entry-level transition from analog mixing. MDX: verify motorized-fader behavior, series consistency and the intended channel tier. T: verify routing, monitor workflow and project expansion. MX: verify high-channel capacity, touchscreen and remote-control workflow.
Compare the four priority series, review MDX-20, or review MX3210.
Frequently asked questions
Wholesale evidence FAQ
What documents should a distributor request?
Request version-specific specifications, I/O and routing evidence, firmware, accessories, packaging, warranty and a sample test record.
Is a short demonstration enough?
No. A professional approval test should cover the complete input, output, processing, scene, recording and control workflow.
How should repeat orders be controlled?
Use a golden sample, signed documents, batch inspection and written change control.
